UKAD v G

Head of Sports Law, Adam Willoughby, has appeared before the National Anti-Doping Panel on behalf of a rugby union player in a case brought under the World Rugby Regulations.

The case examines the interaction between the provisions in the Regulations which provide for a 4 year ban in circumstances where an athlete evades, fails or refuses to provide a sample for testing with intent, and the applicability of the ‘No Significant Fault or Negligence’ provisions which may reduce such bans.
