Josh joined Chambers in September 2017 as an Office Assistant. After just 4 weeks working in the position, he was promoted to Junior Clerk. Josh had the benefit of clerking all areas of Chambers specialties, therefore has a strong relationship with all staff, barristers, solicitors and clerks within the North Eastern Circuit.
Since December 2021, Josh has become a full time Criminal Clerk and second to the Senior Criminal Clerk, Neil Terry.
Josh is always happy to help with any enquiry relating to Criminal or Regulatory matters.
Before joining Chambers, Josh worked for a solicitors firm in Leeds. Josh therefore has a great insight into the workings of criminal law and how solicitor firms operate. Josh has an excellent working relationship with solicitors and enjoys catching up with them over a coffee.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys walking with his Boxer Dog “Mr Keith” and regularly attends both the York and Wetherby Race Courses.
