Immigration
Immigration & Asylum
Broadway House Chambers’ immigration team has a detailed knowledge of the international political, social and economic issues which affect those seeking to come to or remain in the United Kingdom. Our specialist immigration law team has a wealth and breadth of experience in the immigration and human rights fields. Two of our team have been recognised by the Legal 500 for their immigration work.
The team practises across the UK and its experience extends from asylum and immigration cases (including business/economic immigration) to cases involving EU law.
Members regularly appear at all levels of the Immigration and asylum chamber and in the High Court. They are committed to legal aid work and to representing asylum seekers and others amongst the most vulnerable in society, including children, victims of trafficking, and survivors of domestic abuse. Some members also work pro bono. We are the only Barristers Chambers based in Bradford, where the tribunal sits, making it the preferred option for many firms of solicitors. We also have the technology to attend hearings remotely with our clients from our chambers in Bradford and Leeds. Our expertise includes:
Appellate work at all levels
Judicial Review
European Rights of Free Movement and the post-Brexit landscape
Civil Liberties and Human Rights
British Citizenship
Constitutional and Administrative Law
Immigration, Asylum and Nationality
Some members of the Team can also be instructed on a direct access basis.
