Gerald Hendron Successfully Prosecutes Defendant for The Attempted Murder of His Father
Gerald Hendron, successfully prosecuted Shahnaz Hussain, for the Attempted Murder of his father Adul Rouf in April.
The defendant travelled from Milford Haven to Undercliffe, West Yorkshire with clothing and a knife to carry out the murder. He laid in wait until is father left his home to have a cigarette at night before repeatedly stapped him in the abdomen.
Shahnaz Hussain, who was represented by Leading and junior counsel in the trial, pleaded guilty on the fourth day of his trial, shortly before he was due to give evidence. Following his pleas before the jury, the jury entered guilty verdict to Attempted Murder and possession of a bladed article.
Sentence was adjourned to April for the Court to pass sentence.
