Fathers Application to Revoke Placement Order Refused - Kerry Barker Represents Local Authority in High Court
In 2023, care orders and placement orders were made in respect of two children (Boy C and Girl D).
In November 2024, Kerry Barker represented the Local Authority in the case of AB v Durham County Council. AB (father) made an application to revoke the said placement order that was issued in 2023.
The application was refused as it was found that the children's best interests lie with the prospective adopters.
