Stephen Wood KC and Abigail Langford Successfully Prosecute Steven Francis for the Murder of Louisa Hall and Rapes of a Further Woman
Instructed by CPS Yorkshire and Humberside, Stephen Wood KC and Abigail Langford successfully prosecuted the case of Steven Francis at Leeds Crown Court.
Francis was sentenced today after being found guilty of murdering Louisa Hall by a jury at Leeds Crown Court earlier this week. Louisa was found dead with more than 100 injuries. Francis was also convicted of rape, false imprisonment, robbery and assault of another woman.
Francis was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 28 years in custody.
