Jayne Beckett Prosecutes trial of defendant who fled the UK after being charged with indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl more than two decades ago. The defendant was charged in 2018 as part of Operation Stovewood (Rotherham Child Sexual Exploitation Investigation). Defendant was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment and may face deportation thereafter.
